Share Your Story

Your voice matters. Sharing your experience can help bring awareness to rare kidney disease (RKD) and help others feel more connected as they navigate their own path.
There are many ways to tell your story, and each one can make a difference. You might share a moment, a reflection, or a “win”—big or small—that’s helped you move forward.
You’re welcome to share a video, letter, poem, journal entry, or something else entirely. However you choose to share, this is your space.

Questions to Help Reflect on Your RKD Experience

Feel free to use one or more of the questions below to get started. These prompts are here to guide you, but you can also reflect on another question that feels important to you.

Writing Prompts

• What’s a recent win, big or small, that I’ve experienced?
• What would I tell my younger self if I could talk to them now?
• When do I feel most supported, seen, or understood?
• What has my experience taught me about myself?
• What helps me feel grounded during difficult moments?
• Who or what has helped me most along the way, and why?
• If I could tell my story in one sentence today, what would it be?
