Braxton lives with IgAN.
"I have learned that just because my disease is lifelong, doesn’t mean I have or will lead a stagnant life."
Braxton was diagnosed with IgA nephropathy, a rare kidney disease (RKD), at just 21 years old. Following his diagnosis, he struggled with explaining life with a silent disease—a condition that often goes unseen. Over time, his diagnosis gave him a new perspective on life. Through various artistic outlets and the support of the rare kidney disease community, Braxton has found strength and purpose, reminding himself—and others facing similar challenges—that they are not alone.
